Collections Manager Mexican Portfolio

International employer is seeking an experienced Collections Manager for their Mexican portfolio, located in downtown Phoenix location. This fast-paced office in the Arizona Center is centrally-located. We are looking for exceptional talent to join our management team to lead a special Spanish portfolio in our 250+ employees office.

Primary Job Responsibilities:
oDemonstrates positive leadership and professionalism to ensure performance and compliance standards of his/her team are met at both Collectcorp and Client levels.
oMonitors Collections performance at group and collector levels, identifies training needs, and creates action plans for staff development.
oDesigns and implements techniques to motivate collectors to exceed target goals on an individual and department level.
oConducts on-going performance evaluations to ensure work quality standards are met and while maintaining a high compliance level.
oPerforms daily one-on-one coaching sessions with collectors and conducts group training when necessary.
oDemonstrates the ability to inspire and maintain motivation at a collector and team level.
oSupports collection staff with advanced negotiation skills and tactics to drive revenue.
oDemonstrates the ability to diffuse escalated calls to minimize customer complaints.
oAssists leaders with administrative responsibilities and analysis of results.


Requirements

Fluent in Spanish
Experience with Spanish-speaking collections
2+ years Bankcard experience in a collections call center
2+ years of supervisory experience
Collections training experience
Proven track record of achieving monthly production goals
Post-secondary education
Proficient with telephony dialer systems, Time & Attendance software, work plan projections, effectiveness and productivity metrics
Ability to prioritize and organize work
Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
Knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Working knowledge of Mexican market a definite plus
